Tuesday Night Forecast 8/19/2014

From Storm Team 5...

From Storm Team 5 Meteorologist Dave Miller...

Conditions were much quieter Tuesday compared to the heavy rain we experienced in some locations around Northeast Wisconsin on Monday. Almost 4" of rain fell during a 24 hour period near King in Western Waupaca County. We also saw over 1.50" at Appleton and 1.30" at Green Bay. We started the day with clouds and then saw some clearing with the afternoon although a scattering of showers and storms built up later in the day. Highs still warmed into the 70s.

We are in for an unsettled week with the chance for showers and even a few thunderstorms. The exception right now appears to be on Wednesday when we start out with patchy fog and morning clouds then we will clear out later in the day. Highs will start out in the upper 70s then continue to warm into the low to mid 80s. Humid conditions will continue through the week. The chance for showers and thunderstorms will be possible through Saturday with a break on Sunday followed by more showers and storms later in the day on Wednesday.
