From Storm Team 5 Meteorologist Dave Miller...
The morning clouds from Sunday diminished during the midday hours which led to a good dose of sunshine across Northeast Wisconsin. A few pop up showers also cut across parts of Northeast Wisconsin during the morning but diminished by midday as well. We did see more of an easterly wind which did not result in as humid of a day compared to what we saw on Saturday. Highs warmed to around 80 with slightly warmer temps in the western sections of the viewing area. More showers and thunderstorms are possible again late Sunday night and will continue into Monday as a cold front slowly pushes across the Badger State.
A humid day on Monday will allow a scattering of showers and thunderstorms develop during the day on Monday along with humid conditions. Highs will warm into the upper 80s. Right now, we will see some cloud cover at night Monday and Tuesday although we could see some sunshine on Tuesday and again Wednesday. We see another chance for showers and storms develop on Thursday into early Friday with highs in the low 70s. Temps do rebound, at this point, back up to the upper 70s with some sunshine to start out the first half of the holiday weekend.
