Labor Day Evening Forecast 9/1

From Storm Team 5...

From Storm Team 5 Chief Meteorologist Luke Sampe...

After a cloudy and rainy day -- the rain threat will quickly diminish for Monday evening with clearing skies, too.

The final grill outs for the summer season look dry!

Tuesday is back to school for many kids in the area -- and it looks like it will start out ok although there will be a chance for showers and a few t-showers  by midday.

Wednesday will feature sunny skies but showers and thunderstorms return on Thursday.

The bigger story will be the jump in temperatures mid week -- with highs in the mid 80 by Thursday.

A sharp cold front moves through late Thursday into Friday, setting the stage for an almost fall like Saturday...with highs near 70.

Have a great and safe rest to your Labor Day.
