From Storm Team 5 Meteorologist Dave Miller...
After a round of showers and thunderstorms which produced some heavy rain mostly to the west of us overnight and into Friday morning, skies cleared out and that allowed temps to warm into the low to mid 80s across many locations around Northeast Wisconsin. Another round of showers and thunderstorms slowly moved in late Friday night from the west and will continue through most of Saturday. Two weather systems will be affecting us throughout the holiday weekend as highs move into the seventies to around eighty degrees. Highs on Saturday will be in the 70s.
Sunday looks like the nicest day of the holiday weekend. We should see partly cloudy skies with highs around 80 degrees. Showers and storms move back into the picture on Labor Day with highs around 80 again. The rain could be locally heavy at times throughout the holiday weekend. The showers should end early Tuesday with clearing for the rest of the day. Sunny skies should be with us next Wednesday with highs around 80. Some storms again are possible on Thursday. Then clearing for next Friday. Highs drop back into the 70s by the end of next week.
