*** A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL GO INTO EFFECT AT 3PM FRIDAY FOR MOST OF NORTHEAST WISCONSIN -- WATCH OUT FOR SLIPPERY AND POSSIBLY ICY TRAVEL AS A MIX OF SLEET/FREEZING RAIN/RAIN/SNOW MOVES IN FRIDAY EVENING***
The Arctic air is gone and temperatures will continue to rise under a mostly cloudy sky, and even though Friday will be a cloudy day--temperatures will be moderating in the mid 30s by afternoon.
Some moisture seeping up from the south could lead to a wintry mix arrives late Friday bringing sleet and perhaps freezing rain followed by some light snow late Friday night into Saturday morning.
Slick roads will certainly be a possibility by late Friday and early Saturday with this wet weather moving through.
Even so, high temperatures should reach the mid 30s throughout the upcoming weekend. The temps drop back in the 20s for highs with a series of clipper type systems racing across the Great Lakes Monday and Tuesday.
A much larger system is logged to move across the Great Lakes next Thursday which could kick up the gusty winds and somewhat colder temps behind it.
