Officially 2 tornadoes touched down in northeast Wisconsin Tuesday night. An EF-2 near New London moved southeast near Hortonville. A church was heavily damaged in the New London area by the 110-120 mph winds. A second, EF-1 tornado was confirmed to have passed just north of Appleton and brought destructive winds of 100-110 mph close to the intersection of hwy 57 and KK near the Calumet/Brown county line.

A much quieter tone to the forecast now for the middle part of the week. Tonight skies will be mostly clear and temps will tumble to near 50 degrees, watch out for some areas of fog to form.

The weather should remain dry for the rest of the week and into the weekend with the exception of a very weak front which is expected to move across the state early Friday morning. That could produce a few showers during the early morning hours and skies will clear out during the day on Friday.

We will be looking a great evening by the time the Packers take on the Cardinals at Lambeau Field Friday evening to kickoff the pre-season schedule. The kickoff temperature should be in the low 70s.

The weekend currently looks good with sunny skies on Saturday and partly cloudy skies on Sunday with highs in the 70s both days. There is an added chance for some later day showers and a few t-storms on Sunday, we will continue to update the timing and likelihood.
