Soybean Potential

With forecasts now being released for commodities in 2014....one of the more positive outlooks is for beans. USDA officials and most analysts agree that with ending stocks being tight and demand expected to remain strong, producer returns should be good.
Although not expected to rise to the price level of 2012-13, 2014 still looks to be a very good year for growers. Thanks to tight ending stocks and another year of strong demand
most analyst feel the 2014 average price for soybeans should be in that $13-$13.50 per bushel range. In a conversation with memebers of the national Soybean Board, Local 5 Ag Reporter Mike Austin learned why producers feel optimistic about domestic and export demand.
