Author of FoodShare Reform Bill shares thoughts on hearing

The Senate Health Committee held a public hearing on Wednesday to discuss a bill that would limit the products that can be purchased with FoodShare benefits.
 MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) - The Senate Health Committee held a public hearing on Wednesday to discuss a bill that would limit the products that can be purchased with FoodShare benefits.

The bill would also require recipients to use at least two-thirds of their monthly benefits on staple food products.

 Representative Dean Kaufert from Neenah did a phone interview with Local 5's Tom Zalaski about the bill and its progress at the state capitol.
