Budget deal reached in Washington, D.C.

The proposed deal would set federal spending levels and eliminate arbitrary forced spending cuts scheduled to hit in 2014.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WFRV) - House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) has announced he's reached a budget deal with Senate Budget Committee Chairwoman Patty Murray (D-Washington).

The proposed deal would set federal spending levels for the next two years and eliminate forced spending cuts scheduled to hit in 2014.

According to Representative Ryan, the agreed upon plan would prevent another government shutdown, if it is approved by Congress.
