12,000 customers without power in Northeast Wisconsin

An ATC transmission line is out.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Wisconsin Public Service is working to restore power to roughly 12,000 customers in the Green Bay area.

Communities of Suamico and Sobieski are primarily impacted.

According to a message WPS posted on Twitter, an ATC transmission line is out.  Officials believe a tree or a limb fell on the line.

The Line runs from the Pulliam Power Plant in Green Bay to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

A WPS spokesperson says they do now have a time estimate on restoring power.
