Christmas carols in July

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Christmas may be months away that didn't stop some church volunteers from spreading good cheer.

The group of volunteers from Grace Harbor Church of the Nazarene went door to door in the Eastman Park neighborhood of Green Bay, singing Christmas carols.

They say they recently bought an old bar in the area to turn into a ministry, and they're working to build ties to the community. We're really trying to get the word out that we want to be a presence down here," parishioner Jeremy Mclaughlin says, "and we're really just trying to develop relationships and get to know who some of these people are in the Eastman Park area.

Mclaughlin says this is the first time they've sang carols over the summer.
