Gov. Walker declares State of Emergency ahead of storm

Ready Wisconsin and the Department of Transportation are both warning residents to take precautions to stay safe.
MADISON, WIS. (WFRV) - Governor Walker has declared a state of emergency in preparation for Thursday's severe winter storm.

Ready Wisconsin and the Department of Transportation are both warning residents to take precautions to stay safe.

They say it's best to limit travel as much as possible tomorrow, and if you must travel, allow extra time for your trip. You also should make sure to check latest road conditions before you head out, and have an emergency winter survival kit in your vehicle.
