Green Bay among nation's most obese cities

According to a new poll from Gallup, 33% of people living in Green Bay are obese, landing it in the top 10 most obese cities in the nation.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - According to a new poll from Gallup, 33% of people living in Green Bay are obese, landing it 10th on the list of the most obese cities in the U.S.

The area of Huntington-Ashland, W.Va.- Ky.- Ohio topped the list, with an obesity rate of 39.5 percent.

Boulder, Colorado continues to have the lowest obesity rate in the nation, at 12.4 percent.

Gallup and Healthways track obesity levels using height and weight to calculate Body Mass Index.

They say BMI scores of 30 or higher are considered obese.

This results include responses from 300 people 18 and older in  each of the 189 metropolitan areas included in the study.
