Oshkosh, Wis.(WFRV)- A tentative deal has been struck with Hoffmaster and employees that would successfully avoid a strike. It allows about 300 union workers in the Oshkosh plant to stay on the job.
A statement from the President and CEO of Hoffmaster says:
The Company and Union met throughout the day and into the early evening on March 6. Through the hard work, significant issues were addressed and compromises made by both sides to arrive at a contract. The success of the negotiations resulted in a signed agreement, which will now be voted on by our employees in the near future.
There is no word yet on when the vote will take place.
