Green Bay, Wis.(WFRV)- It's going to be easier to get around Lambeau Field starting Friday morning.
After two months of work Oneida Street between Stadium Drive and Lombardi Avenue will re-open to the public.
That section of the road has been closed since late April. The new face lift includes a repaved road, rebuilt sidewalks, repaired storm sewers and brand new traffic lights.
"Anyone who's been driving through here knows how bad the road got," says Paul Fontecchio, the Engineering Manager in Brown County. "The storm sewer was falling apart underneath there. I think people are going to be pleased this is a significant improvement to this piece of road."
The road will re-open at 6:00 a.m. Friday morning.
