Oshkosh Police seize weapons including brass knuckles and machete following disturbance

Oshkosh Police have recovered a number of weapons after being called out to a disturbance near the downtown.
OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - Oshkosh Police have recovered a number of weapons after being called out to a disturbance near the downtown.

Officers were dispatched around 9:00 last night, to the 300 block of West Melvin Avenue.

According to police, a 27 year old woman and 46 year old man went to a home to confront two other people about an unknown problem.

Reportedly, the woman taken into custody pointed a gun at one of the victims.

A struggle took place and the handgun was knocked out of the woman's hand. No shots were fired.

In addition to the gun in the backyard of the home, Oshkosh Police also found brass knuckles on the man and a machete in their vehicle.

Both are being held at the  Winnebago County jail.
