Outagamie County Regional Airport name change proposal

Tonight the name change for Outagamie County Regional Airport will be presented to the full county board.
GREENVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) - Tonight the name change for Outagamie County Regional Airport will be presented to the full county board.

A first time study found that calling it "Appleton Airport" would be more beneficial. The airport already uses ATW, or Appleton Tower Wisconsin, for air traffic control and flight booking websites. The change would cost around $140,000, a cost that would be mainly used to replace signs. The change would be paid for without taxpayer dollars.
