Picketing job fair

After months of contract negotiations between Hoffmaster Group in Oshkosh and its employees, things have come to a head.
OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - After months of contract negotiations between Hoffmaster Group in Oshkosh and its employees, things have come to a head.

The company and employees have been trying to work out a new contract since May of last year. Back in December, employees overwhelmingly rejected a three-year contract. Today, company officials held a job fair at the Best Western Premier Hotel as union employees held an informational picket.

In a statement, the president and CEO of Hoffmaster says "Their decision is disappointing given the year we spent negotiating, during which the company agreed to 28 of the union's proposals."
