St. Lawrence Seminary student in custody amid fire investigation

A 15-year-old freshman at St. Lawrence Seminary has been arrested for allegedly stealing money from the school, as the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office calls the recent campus fire suspicious.
FOND DU LAC COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - A 15-year-old freshman at St. Lawrence Seminary has been arrested for allegedly stealing money from the school, as the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office calls the recent campus fire suspicious.

The blaze on March 8 destroyed St. Joseph Hall.  Then, five days later, investigators learned that cash was missing from the seminary.

The student taken into custody is being held in the Fond du Lac County Juvenile Detention Center on charges of theft and burglary.

The teen suspect has not been charged with arson, but the fire investigation is ongoing.
