(WFRV) - A second Wisconsin National Guard member has been suspended after a pair of controversial casket photos surfaced on social media.

According to military officials, Sergeant Luis Jimenez was suspended because of comments he posted on social media defending Specialist Terry Harrison. The photos, which came from an account linked to the suspended Specialist Harrison, depicted soldiers around an empty casket, and captions that read, in part, 'We put the fun in funeral.'

In a statement released from Major General Donald Dunbar of the Wisconsin National Guard, he says, in part, 'Military funeral honors are a sacred trust, and that is why this issue has generated such a public outcry. The general public is understandably upset, and I understand the anger and response that it has caused.'

The investigation is still ongoing.
