Final Broadway Farmers Market of the year

On Broadway's Executive Director Chris Naumann says this year has been successful.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A weekly tradition has run its course in downtown Green Bay's Broadway district.

Wednesday was the last Broadway Farmer's Market for the year.

On Broadway's Executive Director Chris Naumann says this year has been successful. Attendance has increased by an estimated 10% over last year, with an average of 5,000 to 6,000 people coming out per night.

"That was a little above our expectations to be honest, and it's been wonderful," Naumann says. "But with those large crowds, we've been challenged and we're gonna come back next year and handle that crowd and really keep the quality of the market high."

There is at least one bright spot about the end of the Wednesday farmers market... preparations for holiday lighting can now begin.
