For Juliann Stanis, it's a passion that comes from personal experience.
"I had premature children a few years ago and they inspired me in a huge way and it made me want to give back to the nurses and the health care community that helped us so much," she said.
In her final semester of nursing school, Juliann is now on the hunt for a full time job.
"For the most part, I just want to know what opportunities are available," she said.
The Health Care Career Fair at Fox Valley Technical College is overflowing with interest, from both students and employers.
"Currently we're looking for RN's, CNA's, MA's, as well as phlebotomists and specialized RN's as well," explained Becky Inniger, a recruiter with Aurora Health Care.
With more than 30 organizations, it was the largest health care career fair at the college. That gives eager job seekers, like Juliann, hope for a quick start in a dream career.
"I'm hoping I can make some connections with the employers that are here and look for that dream job and make this all worth it," she added.
Fox Valley Tech just opened its New Health Simulation and Technology Center in August. It gives graduates even more hands-on skills to use in the workforce.
