It was an attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the world's largest zumba class, which stands at 6,671 participants. More than 100 instructors were on hand to coordinate the effort and encourage people of all ages to join in on the fun.
While they didn't break the world record, the event broke the national record which was previously held in Indiana.
The total number of participants was 5,117.
Brian Zinger coordinated the event and says even without the record, the event was still successful.
"What we're trying to do is make Brown County the healthiest county in the nation and by doing that we're offering events like this just to engage people and get them to adopt a happier and healthier lifestyle."
