Green Bay Gamblers hit the ice for a couple of good causes

The Green Bay Gamblers are asking fans to come out on Saturday and support the team and the Green Bay area.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - The Green Bay Gamblers are asking fans to come out on Saturday and support the team and the Green Bay area.

This weekend, the Green Bay Gamblers and Fox Communities Credit Union will be raising funds for the 'Weekend Backpack Program' that feeds kids in Green Bay.

The game is also, the Gamblers' annual mitten toss. Fans are encouraged to bring a pair of mittens and toss them out on the ice after the team scores their first goal.

The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday at the Resch Center.
