Green Bay Police search for suspect after armed robbery at gas station

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in Green Bay on Thursday morning.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in Green Bay on Thursday morning.

Police say a man entered the BP gas station at 2056 Main Street with a handgun.

Officials say the man demanded money from the clerk and placed the money into a canvas shoulder bag.

Police sent their K-9 to try and track the man down after he fled the scene on foot.

Police don't know if a vehicle was involved.

The man is described as a light skinned Hispanic or Indian, 18-25 years old, medium height with a thin to medium build.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood up and a blue bandana over his face. Shoe prints located at the scene were similar to Chuck Taylor-Converse brand.
