GREENVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) - A local Fox Valley business is finding itself in hot water.
That's after numerous complaints were filed with the Better Business Bureau.
It's all over a Greenville consignment shop. The complainants all say they've signed contracts with the store to get their items sold but they're not getting paid.
Mitchell Lundgaard says he's been duped after posting his dining table, china hutch, and barstools on Craig's List.
He was contacted by Unique Interiors and Consignment.
However, even though the consignment shop was able to sell Mitchell's merchandise, he didn't get the money he was promised.
Numerous complaints coming into the Better Business Bureau, six this year alone.
One complainant saying, the "entire operation is a scam."
The BBB gave the business a grade "F" rating
Ken Cychosz is the owner of the business.
"I have been overwhelmed since I opened this," said Cyrhosz. "I didn't want to do this from day one. I got talked into doing this from another lady and I got in over my head and it's too much for me to handle. But I'm not running from anybody. I've been keeping it open. I've been striving to keep things afloat."
Since Local 5 contacted Cychosz, he's paid Mitch the full amount he was owed.
However, according to the Better Business Bureau, there are still other victims out there.
