Green Bay, Wis.(WFRV)- The Wisconsin DOT has placed equipment on the Leo Frigo Bridge to monitor any further movement from its piers.

The battery powered equipment will detect any movement and will sound an alarm system to alert workers below the pier. Monitors have been placed on piers 21, 22 and 23. As of 12:00 p.m. Sunday, the DOT was reported that no further settlement of pier 22 has taken place.

The public is reminded to stay off the bridge and away from the area where the piers are located. An estimated timeline for the bridges repair may not come for several weeks.
