FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities have released more information behind an arson that led to a standoff on Monday.

Officials say an officer was intentionally shot at, and at least three homes were struck by gunfire in Fond du Lac. At least 26 rounds were fired, but no one was injured.

Police say it all started during an arson investigation on Hickory Street, which led them to a home on Main Street. That home was where the suspect reportedly fired shots. He was eventually taken into custody.

Investigators recovered a significant amount of guns from the suspect's home, including ammunition, ballistic shields, and vests.
