Update: Walmart shooting victim in critical condition

 Neenah, Wis.(WFRV)- Police say 56 year-old Sharron Goffard is in critical condition after being shot Wednesday morning at Walmart.

Goffard is being treated at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center and had several blood transfusions and may require surgery as early at Friday.

According to Neenah Police, around 11:00 a.m. Wednesday Justine Boyd entered the Wal-Mart and opened fire on Goffard who was behind the liquor counter.

Police arrived moments later and arrested Boyd and were able to locate a handgun they believe was used. No one else was hurt in the incident.

Boyd is reportedly an employee of Walmart but police do not know the extent of her relationship with Goffard. No motive is known at this time.

Boyd has been booked at the Winnebago County Jail for one count of Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide, a Class A Felony. No word on when she will appear in court.
