The first of five projects approved by the $66.5 million referendum for the Fox Valley Technical College is complete.
The Service Motor Company Agriculture Center is ready for student use.
Service Motor Company helped fund the project with a generous donation of $1.1 million. This number is on top of the $15 million the company had already donated to the school.
The gift is part of a long-term commitment from the support both Service Motor Company, and the Fox Valley Technical College. The two sides agreed to a deal where Service Motor Company will continue its contributions to the school, in exchange for some naming rights to the facilities.
The new agriculture center will help to continue the college's 65-year-old history of agriculture-related field training.
