Packers fans wait to hear if Rodgers will play during big game

Packers fans are anxiously waiting to hear if Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will play during Sunday's big game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

 

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Packers fans are anxiously waiting to hear if Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will play during Sunday's big game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Rodgers is scheduled to meet with Pat McKenzie, the team's doctor, for an update on his collarbone injury.

Depending on the meeting, fans could learn whether or not the star player  will return to the field.

In Mike McCarthy's weekly news conference on Wednesday, McCarthy said Rodgers is not medically cleared to play as of right now.

Fans can watch the showdown against the Steelers on Local 5 this Sunday starting at 3:25 p.m.

Local 5 will have all the post game Packers coverage on Local 5 News at 10 p.m. including reaction from the Locker Room and Coach McCarthy.
