GREENVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) - Local communities gathered today in Greenville to learn how to prevent the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer.

Wisconsin is home to about 700 million ash trees and the average community stands to lose one in five trees, if the destructive beetle is not stopped.

One solution to help combat the invasive species is to inject ash trees, giving them two years of protection.
