Jody Weyers from the Northeast Wisconsin Chapter left Saturday morning to help with funding efforts in the hardest hit areas.
Two red cross workers from Milwaukee were also sent over. Jody tells Local 5 they will be working directly with the victims.
"Individuals that go out in shelter operations or house services or even mental health services, those people will be staying in the shelter with the people that we're housing. You know working with those clients day in and day out," said Jody Weyers/ Director of Volunteers, American Red Cross Northeast WI Region.
With more rain in the forecast The Red Cross is prepared to send additional help from Wisconsin if the need arises.
