Snowy roads affect fans travelling to and from Packer game

With the snow, slippery conditions and all the added traffic, the Wisconsin State Patrol beefed up patrols along area highways
BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - Law enforcement agencies around the area had their hands full Sunday.

That's because area highways were full of traffic as fans travelled to and from Sunday's Packers game.

With the snow, slippery conditions and all the added traffic, the Wisconsin State Patrol beefed up patrols along area highways.

Troopers say they saw no major crashes in the wake of Sunday's game, just a few slide offs and minor accidents.

Even so, they say you should always be careful when the flakes are flying.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says if you have to be on the roads allow extra time for travel, be sure your headlights are on ,and increase your following distance.
