Suspect in Timothy Nance investigation released

New information regarding the possible location of Nance's body has also come to light.
FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) - One of the women who was in custody in connection with Timothy Nance's disappearance has been released.

The Fond du Lac Sheriff's department has confirmed that Tina Ewell is no longer in custody. Ewell is the sister of Timothy Nance's wife, Eve Nance.

The reason for her release is not known. Both were arrested last month on suspicion of hiding a corpse and obstructing police. Eve Nance is still in county custody.

New information has also come to light about the location of Timothy Nance's body.

According to our affiliate, CBS 58 in Milwaukee, the Milwaukee county medical examiner has confirmed that they found a body on Milwaukee's northeast side on Thursday.

The medical examiner's office says the body's identity has not been confirmed, but it is believed to be the body of  Timothy Nance.  Officials were unable to confirm any other details.

 Fond du Lac police are holding a news conference Tuesday to update us on the investigation into Nance's death.  Count on local 5 for complete coverage.

Nance was reported missing in early November by his wife.

Last week, police released information that they have found a body.

But, it has not yet been confirmed to be the body of Timothy Nance.

Two women believed to have ties to Nance's disappearance are being held in Fond du Lac County jail.

The suspects arrested are the wife of Timothy Nance, Eve Nance and her sister, Tina Ewell.
