United Way indoor halloween event

The United Way organized an indoor trick or treat event where everyone could participate.
Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV)- Some area kids got a head start on their trick or treating Wednesday morning.

The United Way hosted an indoor trick or treat event at Green Bay's Riverside Ballroom. Kids with special needs were able to go from booth to booth to collect their halloween goodies. Organizers like the United Way's Andria Hannula says its a way everyone can participate in the holiday.

"It's a safe indoor trick or treating event for kids with special needs and a fun day to celebrate some of the things that the United Way does and some of the individuals that we're trying to impact." said Hannula.

The event was part of the United Way's "Dollars in Action" fall campaign.
