Henry H. Leck is the founder of the prestigious Indianapolis Children's Choir. But Tuesday night, he led the finale of the Fox Cities Choral Music Festival. Students spent the past two days rehearsing with the guest director.

"The music he creates with our choirs was just amazing," said Kimberly High School Senior Claire Powling. "It went to a level we hadn't reached before. The passion, and the musicality, it was unforgettable."

Three local high schools were involved; Kimberly, Hortonville, and Weyauwega-Fremont. The respective directors say it was a great chance for their students to train under one of the best.

"To have the expertise of Henry Leck, he did just a fabulous job this afternoon with our students," said Hortonville Director Shelley Nulton. "We had so much fun. It's a great experience."

Each school sang three songs before gathering in unison for the grand finale. An experience some will never forget.

"It's such an amazing and such a unique and special opportunity for kids in high school, and I know we'll be talking about it for the next month also," said Powling. "It's really a fantastic opportunity."
