State Baseball tournament back underway after long delay

The start of day 2 at Fox Cities Stadium was delayed over 5 hours on Wednesday.

The WIAA state baseball tournament was able to stay on schedule, with all 6 scheduled games taking place Tuesday.

Wednesday, however, rain caused a delay in the start of day 2's action by over five hours.

The Division 4 semifinals, scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m., didn't get underway until 1:15 p.m.

The WIAA does hope to get in all 6 scheduled games Wednesday, scheduling only 15 minute breaks in-between, as opposed to the normal 30-35.

Oconto, Notre Dame, and Ripon are the three teams from our area scheduled to play.

We'll have more as the day progresses on Local 5 sports, and here on wearegreenbaycom.
