Badgers fall to Minnesota, suffer 3rd straight loss

Wisconsin's defensive woes continue.
The Minnesota Golden Gophers defeated the Wisconsin Badgers, 81-68, on Wednesday night in Minneapolis.

The loss was the third in a row for the Badgers, who had started the season with 16 consecutive victories.

Deandre Mathieu and Maurice Walker led the Gophers with 18 points each, as Minnesota never trailed.

Sam Dekker scored 20 to led the Badgers, who fell to 3-3 in Big 10 play.  Wisconsin travels to Purdue on Saturday.
