Not only did Ashwaubenon defeat FRCC rivals Bay Port in the finals of the second annual event, they also held their own with former professional players on the field as well
(WFRV-TV) - Ashwaubenon defeated Bay Port 30-16 in the finals of the second annual Midwest Elite 7 on 7 Tournament Saturday afternoon at Notre Dame Academy.

The event is organized by Sturgeon Bay native and former NFL QB Chris Greisen.  The final game featured a pair of quarterbacks who recently committed to Division 1 colleges the Jaguars' James Morgan (Bowling Green State) and Pirates's Alec Ingold (Northern Illinois).

With the win in the finals Ashwaubenon earned the right to take on a team of former professional players that included Greisen at QB, his brother Nick, a former Badger and NFL linebacker, and former Packers WR Chris Francies.

The Jaguars were again victorious in that game as Morgan connected on several TD's with WR Sam Wisneski to seal a 30-26 win over the pro's.
