Terry joined Channel 5 in July 1990 as a general assignment reporter.  Learn more about Terry...

For most of that time, I've also served as my own photographer. From 1981 to 1990, I worked as a reporter/photographer and weekend anchor for WLUC-TV in Marquette, Michigan.  I learned a lot about reporting, shooting and producing news magazine segments. I also took home an AP award for best use of natural sound in a segment on an Escanaba Police officer. But my interest in broadcasting goes way back.

From the time I visited my cousin while he was working at a radio station in Marquette, Michigan in the 1960's, I knew broadcasting was something I wanted to be involved in. That interest was renewed during a junior high school research project on careers. That project would be a life changing experience.

From that point on I used any opportunity that came my way with one goal in mind: to work in broadcast news. That included a high school closed circuit radio station, junior college newspaper and radio and television stations at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant. The dream came true upon graduation in 1981.

I grew up in the Detroit suburb of Livonia, Michigan and followed the Tigers, Red Wings and Lions. But since making my home in Green Bay, I've also become an avid Packer Backer.

During my tenure with WFRV Local 5, I've won honors from the Milwaukee Press Club and Wisconsin AP. My wife Dellrose and I have spent many years together, and our relationship is made more special by my stepdaughter, Angela, and our granddaughters Isis, Indira and our grandson Averey.
