Helping Hand: Local retired man logs thousands of volunteer hours at food pantry

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A local man has taken retirement to a whole new level,  spending 30,000 hours helping his community.

Although his age has slowed him down a bit, he's still willing to commit his time and energy to helping people in need.


85-year-old Gene Schuh, retired from IBM as a systems engineer, but didn't retire from service.
He's logged  thousands of volunteer hours in 22 years, all to help needy families at a local food pantry.

With more than 3,500 needy families, this helping hand is just what Paul's Pantry needs.
