Hometown Hero: Scott Schefe

USMC veteran uses real childhood events to get kids excited about reading

APPLETON (WFRV) This week's "Hometown Hero" enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corps while still in high school. Scott Schefe was involved in closing down a failed U.N. mission in Somalia, where he was unable to help children facing starvation. Now he works to get kids excited about reading. Local Five's Terry Kovarik has his story.
