The Service League of Green Bay will be holding the 22nd annual back to school store at East High School. Fifteen hundred elementary school students living in poverty throughout the county will receive the essentials they need to start school on the right foot. They'll receive everything from new clothing, sneakers, socks, underwear and school supplies. Kids will also receive vision and dental screenings.
Twenty five schools and public agencies went through thousands of applications to choose those students who need the most help.
Fifteen hundred middle school students also benefit from the Service League. They will receive backpacks filled with necessary school supplies to start the year off right.
The back to school store runs from 8am-5pm Wednesday.
