OREGON, Wis. (WFRV) - Packers coach Mike Mccarthy enjoyed another opportunity to hit the fairway for a good cause Monday.

It was during the annual McCarthy Golf Invitational, held at the Legend at Bergamont golf course in Oregon, just south of Madison.

This year, the event raised $425,000 dollars for the American Family Children's hospital in Madison.

"My wife and I had a vision and a passion to connect with American Family Children's Hospital," coach McCarthy says, "and we really feel like we've gotten it to that level so, year number 5, gone over $1.2 million in net proceeds to the hospital to see the impact that it's making."

Coach McCarthy and his wife Jessica also paid a visit to patients at American Family Children's hospital on Sunday.
