GRAND CHUTE, Wis., (WFRV) - A custody dispute between two Chicago police officers made its way up to Grand Chute.

That's where one officer and her two children were found, after Chicago authorities reported she'd abducted them Wednesday night from their father.

The children are back with their father Thursday night and Grand Chute Police Chief Greg Peterson says, their mother is facing no charges at all.

Peterson says his department got involved around noon after being notified by Chicago PD, that they had reason to believe Jamie Duignan and her two sons, 11-year-old Daniel and 9-year-old Owen were in the area. Peterson says after the call, officers began to search the area for her silver Honda van and found it parked at the La Quinta Inn and Suites, with all three inside.

Peterson says the woman was cooperative and the kids seemed well cared for.
