Eight arrested in prostitution sting

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Green Bay Police have arrested eight women on suspicion of prostitution. 

According to the department, it was part of a sting operation. The women met with undercover officers to engage in sexual acts in exchange for money. They were taken into custody, and charged with operating without an escort license and/or drug possession. 

The fine for operating an escort service without a license tops $6,000.
