Helping Hand: ALS Battle

MANITOWOC, Wisc. (WFRV) A Manitowoc woman with ALS is fighting for her life and raising awareness of the debilitating  disease.

Bernette Seiler and her family share their story in this week's Helping Hand.

"Walk to Defeat ALS" will be held this Saturday in  Manitowoc. It's an effort to raise funds for ALS research. Bernette will be the  honored guest. Below is information about the walk:

Tickets for that are $5 each or purchase 5 tickets for $20.

A silent auction will start at 9AM and finish up at 2PM

If you're not interested in the walk, then come eat at the Timeout Sports Bar & Grill!

10% of all food and drink purchased at the Timeout will be  donated to the ALS Association.

You are encouraged to donate at any time as well.
