Hundreds of same-sex couples marry across state

MILAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) - In a rare move, both Milwaukee and Madison clerks kept their offices open on Saturday after Wisconsin made history on Friday.

Nearly 150 same-sex couples have married in Milwaukee after a federal judge overturned Wisconsin's ban on same sex marriage.

But couples across the state have been filing for marriage licenses before a possible hold is placed on the judge's decision.
