Local doctor remembers Boston Marathon bombings

BOSTON, MA (WFRV) - Tuesday marked the first anniversary of the Boston Marathon Bombings.

Three people were killed and more than 260 injured in an event that shocked the nation.

Local 5 talked with Dr. Jeremy Metzler, Family Medicine and Sports Medicine Physician for Prevea Health.

He was training that day for his roll as the Medical Director for Cellcom Green Bay Marathon.

This year, he will be taking part in the marathon as a runner.
